"How I feel in Budapest"
The objective of this section is to show you the opinion of different exchange students about Budapest. We ask them the following questions!
- What is your name?
- Where do you come from?
- What are you doing in Budapest?
- Palinka or Hungarian wine?
- Goulash, chicken paprika or stuffed cabbage?
- What is your favorite thing about Budapest?
- Tell us about your best and not so good experiences in Budapest.
- Would you come back to Budapest ?
Our first interview was with Eléonore Mouton, an Erasmus student from Belgium. Eléonore is staying in Budapest only for one semester studying Business. She likes to drink Palinka from time to time, but she admitted that she is more of a wine lover. Goulash is her favourite Hungarian dish. Besides this, she told us that she was not able to eat chicken anymore, given that she has been eating a lot since she got here! When we asked her what was her favourite thing about Budapest she could not make up her mind. She told us that the nightlife in Budapest was amazing and that would definitely be her top favourite thing about Budapest. Nevertheless, she also loves the beautiful view along the Danube. Her favourite and best experience in Budapest was the first time she walked around the Margaret insland during a sunny day and when she went to the Zoo. She also told us that she struggled a lot while looking for a flat and that this could have been considered her most unpleasant experience here in Budapest. When asked if she would come back to Budapest she did not hesitate: she will definitely come back. This is one of the most amazing cities she has ever been to!
