A38

Hello! In today's post we will talk about a great place right in the Danube! A38  can make this possible simple because it´s on a boat that has been modified in order to serve as a restaurant/bar/concert hall. Due to the peculiarity of its structure, it is very easy to find the place without any problem.

A38 is located in Petőfi híd Bridge, on the Buda side of the city. Everyone can easily get there using one of the major tram lines (line 4 or 6) in direction to Petőfi híd, Budai hídfő, since there is a tram stop really close to the place.  During the day its main function is to serve as a delicious restaurant where you can enjoy a great variety of dishes with a great quality and service or you can also have a few drinks with your friends while you enjoy the great view that only this place can offer. 

As the night comes the venue starts to slowly change its atmosphere and becomes more of a bar and not so much a restaurant in order to attract more people before the concerts begin. We went there on a Tuesday, the day in which they usually have the same group playing. This group is composed by a particular set of musicians with a lot of different styles and talents, so different that anyone who sees would might believe that they play really bad, but this is not the case. When they start playing they are able to provide an amazing performance and to give the audience a great show at the same time.

Every Tuesday they have the group we mentioned before and some others in special occasions. They play great funk jam sessions and the cost of the ticket is only 800 Forints or about 3 euros for a great show. We definitely recommend you to go there especially if you like to listen this awesome kind of music. Or even if you do not since the cost is a bargain in comparison to the show you get.

The venue also hold a great variety of bands and musicians playing almost everyday of the week and we can guarantee you will have a great time in there. We recommend you to visit this place, since there is no words to describe exactly the music and the fun you can have in there. (Especially on Tuesdays!) So, you definitely have to go there and experience it on your own!
